Using this site

Hindu Calendar is a free reference tool for Panchang data and Hindu festival dates. You're welcome to use it for personal, non-commercial reference. Please don't scrape, republish, or redistribute the site's content at scale without permission.

Accuracy of Panchang and festival dates

Panchang values (Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana) are calculated using standard astronomical formulas evaluated at the current moment, not at your local sunrise, and using the Lahiri ayanamsa convention. Festival dates are researched and verified for the current year but can vary by regional tradition. For muhurat timing, weddings, or other significant decisions, always consult a local Panchang or priest.

This site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it accurate but don't guarantee the site will be error-free or match every regional Panchang exactly.
